Following the news that Melania and Barron Trump will remain in New York after Donald Trump enters office, it is possible that the Secret Service may actually rent a floor in Trump Tower.

According to CNN, it is possible that one floor of Trump Tower will be converted into a ‘command post’ of sorts for the Secret Service. This is a safety precaution that could be taken to accommodate the needs of the Trump family, but specifically Melania and Barron, who will remain in New York after Donald Trump is inaugurated.

However, the blame does not fall completely on Melania and Barron. Mr. Trump has stated that he’d like to stay in New York as much as possible while he is President. So, even if Mr. Trump’s wife and youngest son did move into the White House, this would likely still be necessary.

Most importantly, though, is that if the Secret Service does end up doing this, it will cost the government approximately $1.5 million each year. Furthermore, the money will be pocketed by Donald Trump’s company.

The New York Police Department will be the primary security providers outside of Trump Tower, with the Secret Service covering the building itself.

For once in his life, can’t TRUMP be thoughtful enough to spare the Secret Service all this commotion and unnecessarily expense by picking up the tab ,sparing additional expenditures to the government. Thus also saving individuals and tax payers money. Surely TRUMP being a MASTER SALES MAN can come up with a more equitable solution !
