President-elect Donald Trump on Friday called on lawmakers from both chambers of the U.S. Congress to investigate intelligence leaks to NBC.

Trump was focusing in on information which he claims was improperly leaked on Russian interference with the presidential election prior to Trump “seeing it,” even though he admits that President Obama, who still does sit in for his intelligence briefings, has already received the information in question.

While the President-elect has told the country to “move on” from debating the Russian hacks themselves, he apparently finds the purported leaks important enough for both the House and the Senate to conduct investigations. “I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it,” Trump tweeted on Friday.

Notably absent from his tweet was to which committees he was even referring.

NBC News on Thursday reported that U.S. intelligence found evidence of Russian officials celebrating Trump’s election victory. More importantly, it also reported that U.S. intelligence officials had identified the Russians who had given the hacked emails to WikiLeaks.

The NBC report cited “a senior U.S. intelligence official with direct knowledge” of the intel report that was delivered to President Obama on Thursday and is scheduled to be delivered to Trump on Friday.

“Highly classified intercepts illustrate Russian government planning and direction of a multifaceted campaign by Moscow to undermine the integrity of the American political system,” said the official. NBC’s source also noted, however, that communication intercepts are viewed with caution because they are subject to interpretation.

A declassified report on the hacking will be released to the public sometime Friday, a senior congressional staffer said. “What you will see is that there were evolving goals over time. At the end, they were trying to elect Trump,” the source said, adding that the evidence of Russia’s involvement in the hacks, and its foal of helping Trump, is clear.

NBC’s story came after The Washington Post reported details from the review. However, as Trump is widely known to be very averse to reading.

Friday’s tweet was not the first criticism that the President-elect leveled on the matter. On Thursday, he tweeted “How did NBC get ‘an exclusive look into the top secret report he (Obama) was presented?’ Who gave them this report and why? Politics!”

In fact, the official agrees to speak to NBC News after The Post published leaked details of the review because the official felt that The Post’s report focused too much on the celebration by Russian officials rather than the real focus of the report.

Two top intelligence officials with direct knowledge told NBC News that the report on Russian hacking also details Russian cyberattacks were not just against the Democratic National Committee, but also against the White House, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the State Department, and certain American corporations.

Trump continues to preach skepticism on whether Russia is the culprit, continuously slamming both the U.S. intelligence community and the victims of the hacking.
