In typical Trump fashion, the President-elect took to Twitter on Saturday, only one day after the release of a U.S. intelligence report that found Russia to be at the root of the hacking during the 2016 election, to make some controversial comments.

Following two earlier tweets that both criticized Democrats and minimized Russia’s role in the presidential election, Mr. Trump tweeted that “only ‘stupid’ people” do not want good relations with Russia. He went on to add that the U.S. has “enough problems around the world.”

After two earlier tweets that criticized Democrats and downplayed Russia’s role in the election, Trump tweeted that that “only ‘stupid’ people” do not want a good relationship with Russia, adding that the United States has “enough problems around the world.”

“Having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. Only ‘stupid’ people, or fools, would think that it is bad! We have enough problems around the world without yet another one. When I am President, Russia will respect us far more than they do now and both countries will, perhaps, work together to solve some of the many great and pressing problems and issues of the WORLD!”

A declassified report was released on Friday that found Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign to help the now President-elect take the White House.

The report states that “Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process, denigrate Secretary [Hillary] Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump.”

Mr. Trump has been overtly critical of the intelligence community and has vehemently denied Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election. However, during his presidential campaign, Trump signaled that he was interested in more open relations with the Kremlin and even invited Russia to hack Democratic party organizations.

Kellyanne sounds like a 3 grader. Why can’t they both STFU. This kind of childish tit for tat is showing the world just how unstable the US is. Putin and Trump are birds of a feather who flock together. There is no democracy no more.

Well, Trump, you’re pretty much stupid. You’ve already handed the American people and our Democracy over to Putin. My input surely isn’t going to change anything. But you Trump, are the fool.
