At the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning, President Donald Trump asked attendees to pray for Arnold Schwarzenegger because the show’s ratings have been lower since she has been host of NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

Trump was introduced at the event by producer and creator of “The Celebrity Apprentice” Mark Burnett. The President called him “a special, special friend,” saying that the two of them “had an amazing life together.” However, Trump had to seize his opportunity on the public stage to take a shot at someone.
“When I ran for president, I had to leave the show. That’s when I knew for sure I was doing it. And they hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take pace my place, and we know how that turned out… The ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster. And Mark will never, ever bet against Trump again, and I want to just pray for Arnold, if we can, for those ratings, okay?”
Schwarzenegger was quick to respond to Trump’s comments — taking to Twitter to publish a video directly addressing the President, in which he stated,
“Hey Donald, I have a great idea. Why don’t we switch jobs? You take over TV, because you’re such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job, and then people can finally sleep comfortably again.”

This is not the first time that Mr. Trump has clashed with Schwarzenegger publicly. Schwarzenegger, an early endorser of Ohio Gov. John Kasich during the Republican presidential primary, did not support Donald Trump in the general election.
Last month, Trump attacked Schwarzenegger for the ratings of “The Celebrity Apprentice” after he left the show to pursue his position in the White House.
