President-elect Donald Trump has picked Republican National Committee Chief Strategist Sean Spicer to be the White House Press Secretary.

The transition team announced the news in a statement on Thursday. In addition, Hope Hicks was named assistant to the president and director of strategic communications. Jason Miller was named assistant to the president and director of communications, and Dan Scavino was named assistant to the president and director of social media.

Hicks, Miller, and Scavino were very important players in Trump’s campaign, and Spicer, as communications director and chief strategist of the RNC, was as big an outside advocate for him as anyone, particularly during the general election.

“Sean, Hope, Jason and Dan have been key members of my team during the campaign and transition. I am excited they will be leading the team that will communicate my agenda that will Make America Great Again,” Trump said in a statement.

The team will join Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s senior adviser, who the transition team announced was being named Counselor to the president.
