Fox News host Bill O’Reilly responded to the President’s comments that the media is the “enemy of the American people,” by claiming we don’t have a free press anyway.

This was not the first time that the President has publicly attacked these media outlets. All of the aforementioned news sources have reported on scandals and controversies involving Mr. Trump, leading the President to wage what seems to be an all out war on the press, excluding Fox News and Breitbart.
Just the day before publishing his tweet, the President sent the majority of his 77-minute press conference attacking the press. During the conference, he called the press “out of control” and “dishonest.” Even more troubling, however, is the fact that, despite the information that has already been released to the public, Mr. Trump blamed former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s resignation on the so-called “fake media.” He said that journalists treated Flynn “very unfairly.”
During Monday night’s edition of “The O’Reilly Factor,” O’Reilly explained,
“The Founding Fathers gave us specific freedoms so we could tell you how the people in power were behaving. But when the press aligns itself with a political movement ― in this case, liberalism ― then it is no longer objective or free.”
However, he was sure to leave Fox News out of it.
“Some believe that the Fox News Channel is not fair and free. I dispute that, pointing to analysis of our on-air personnel. We put forth both sides,” he said.
He later concluded that the press in the United States must “ditch its outwardly liberal bent” in order to regain respect.
