In the latest episode of “Saturday Night Live,” Melissa McCarthy perfectly captures the absurdity that is White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s press briefings.
During the first airing of what many hope will be SNL’s newest recurring segment, McCarthy played Spicer during a hilarious spoof press conference in the White House briefing room.
After telling the press to “settle down” and getting into heated verbal confrontations with reporters, Spicer apologized for getting off to a “rocky start” with the media,
“And by ‘rocky,’ I mean the movie cos I came out here to punch you in the face. Also, I don’t talk so good.”
