On Tuesday’s edition of the “Late Show,” host Stephen Colbert seized the opportunity to throw some shade at congressional Republicans over their proposed replacement for Obamacare.
The catch? As Colbert states, they immediately shot it down after it was proposed.
The “Late Show” host announced,
“Well, it’s finally here. After six years of trying, last night the Republicans finally unveiled their healthcare plan. Then, out of force of habit, they voted to repeal it.”
As Colbert explains,
“There is one thing that they are keeping from Obamacare — nobody likes it,” before adding conserrvatives are calling it “Obamacare Lite”
