The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) decision to invite senior Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos to speak garnered the attention of CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday after video surfaced of the alt-right figurehead’s latest scandal.

The video that recently surfaced shows Yiannopoulos defending pedophilia.

According to the New York Daily News, in the video,

“[Yiannopoulos] flippantly said young boys ‘discover who they are’ through such relationships, later implying that those relationships can be sexual in nature, and can ‘give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable rock where they can’t speak to their parents.'”

Tapper took to Twitter to voice his dismay at CPAC’s decision to give such a figure speaking time. In his first tweet, he wrote that one of his conservative friends of his who was “molested as a child” was personally “horrified” by Yiannopoulos’ video.
