The Blaze, which is owned by conservative commentator Glenn Beck, has suspended Tomi Lahren, one of its most popular personalities, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the matter.
Lahren’s program, ‘Tomi,’ is reportedly suspended for at least a week starting on Monday, according to The Daily Caller citing multiple anonymous sources.
The suspension follows reports from the publication on Friday that Lahren may be ousted at The Blaze, “in September if not sooner” due to what it called rising tensions between the young political firebrand and other employees at The Blaze.
Beck, himself, took to Twitter to question Lahren’s intellectual honesty. His comments in the wake of Lahren’s remarks on ABC’s “The View” that she supports abortion rights, saying,
“You know what? I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well.”
In calling pro-life conservatives hypocrites, the conservative firebrand said “I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies.”
On Monday, the 24-year-old conservative talk show host followed up her comments by tweeting that she holds “moderate, conservative, and libertarian views,” adding that, “I’m human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker.”
I have moderate, conservative, and libertarian views. I'm human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker.

Beck fired back in response, saying “Wait, libertarian views? Help me out on Trumpcare, stimulus, and executive orders. Trump is anything but libertarian.” The Blaze founder used a hashtag to drive home his point: #intellectualhonesty.
